Playstyle Shifts
The goals for both types of content differ in execution, yet share similarities that allow for smooth transitions between them. The key takeaway is using Thunder Focus Tea strategically to enhance the rest of your base kit.
Raid
Your primary goal in raid is to spread Aspect of Harmony HoTs to as many players as possible within the 10-second Vitality withdraw window before focusing on actual healing. This ensures your future healing is significantly amplified through Coalescence.
Spreading Aspect of Harmony
To accomplish this, we utilize two key abilities outside of our standard rotation:
- Chi Burst – An uncapped AoE heal that can pass through all 20 players in a raid group.
- Refreshing Jade Wind – Automatically triggers after pressing Thunder Focus Tea when talented into it.
Chi Burst serves as the primary Aspect of Harmony HoT applicator, while Refreshing Jade Wind helps intensify and sustain its spread.
Do not delay your healing while withdrawing Vitality. Continue using abilities like Renewing Mist, Rising Sun Kick / Rushing Wind Kick, Enveloping Mist, and Vivify as needed.
Managing Vitality
Once your Vitality is fully or nearly depleted, the goal to have the entire raid benefiting from the 20% healing increase should have been reached.
At this point, you can continue normal healing with Vivify and/or planned cooldowns like Revival or Invoke Yu'lon, the Jade Serpent, further enhancing their effectiveness.
If any Vitality remains unused, Purified Spirit will activate, distributing the leftover amount evenly across the raid as a HoT.

Current Tuning
Currently, Master of Harmony is tuned quite poorly and doesn't see play in Raids. The recent change to Aspect of Harmony applying via overhealing made it even worse for healing as you're wasting the heal on full HP targets. I'd stick with Conduit of the Celestials in all cases.

Mythic+
Your approach in Mythic+ differs from raid content. Here, Master of Harmony serves as a hybrid tool for both healing and damage —or exclusively for one, depending on the situation.
Both aspects of Master of Harmony—healing and damage—are empowered by Coalescence, which increases the healing or damage taken by your targets by 20%. Maximizing this effect is key to optimizing your throughput.
Healing with Aspect of Harmony
When using Aspect of Harmony for healing, the focus is on applying the HoT rather than relying solely on its raw strength. Most damage mechanics occur roughly every 30 seconds, and by stacking Mistweaver healing modifiers like Chi Harmony and Enveloping Mist alongside Coalescence, you can generate massive healing for nearly every mechanic.
Why This Works
Aspect of Harmony HoT benefits from Coalescence, meaning spells like Sheilun’s Gift and Revival (as well as all other healing abilities) receive a significant boost, further increasing overall healing output.
Shifting to Damage
When Aspect of Harmony isn't needed for healing, you can instead funnel it into damage:
- Aspect of Harmony DoT – Converts stored Vitality into a DoT that can deal up to your maximum HP over 8 seconds.
- Coalescence – Buffs damaging abilities like Rising Sun Kick and Crackling Jade Lightning, further amplifying your damage output.
Most of the time, you’ll be balancing both healing and damage simultaneously, unless a situation demands full commitment to one or the other.
Thunder Focus Tea Usage
Consuming Thunder Focus Tea inside of Mythic+ dungeons will continue to be situational dependent on the scenario you are in, taking Secret Infusion into account but there are a few quirks with Vitality and spending the resource.
- Rising Sun Kick—the default choice. Additional damage, additional Ancient Teachings healing, additional Chi Harmony Renewing Mists created through Rapid Diffusion.
- Do note, if you want to use Aspect of Harmony for healing, you run the risk of dumping vitality into damage unintentionally by applying and continually dealing damage into an Aspect of Harmony DoT.
- Enveloping Mist—a useful instant heal and application of the Enveloping Mist HoT. Applies an Aspect of Harmony HoT immediately upon healing, creates a new Chi Harmony Renewing Mist through Rapid Diffusion. Reduces the risk of vitality dumping into damage.
- Expel Harm—personal defensive, but adds a lot of vitality into your Aspect of Harmony HoT even considering overhealing. Use this only if you don't have a defensive available and are unable to live a damage instance.
- Renewing Mist—the least used option of the bunch. Works great during rot fights to extend the duration of Renewing Mist with Rising Mist, but does not strengthen your healing as much as Crit and Versatility will through the other Secret Infusion buffs.
- Vivify— avoid at all costs. Does nothing but makes Vivify free and the mastery you gain via Secret Infusion is not giving the correct amount currently.
For the most part, stick with Enveloping Mist when you need healing and Rising Sun Kick when you'd like to deal damage.
Timeline of Events
These rotations are not all encapsulating - some are better than others, some are just examples of what you can do to make use of Aspect of Harmony.
Pure Healing
Assume Thunder Focus Tea is pressed as damage to your party occurs.
Pure Damage (kinda)
Aspect of Harmony can still apply the HoT onto party members from existing HoTs, Gust of Mists from Crane Style, Rapid Diffusion creating new Renewing Mists, Coalescence's intensify and more!
